Chulalongkorn University

The high-energy particle physics laboratory, Chulalongkorn University, has been a member of CMS since 2012. However, the activities between them and CMS have taken since 2002 when the first student visited CERN as the summer student and worked with CMS. At the moment, the group has three faculty members, two postdocs and one graduate student.

The group is currently involved in PdmV/PPD area, dealing with validation, Monte Carlo production, and data processing. For physics, they have a wide rage of interests but mostly focus on physics beyond the Standard Model, including dark matter and Supersymmetric particles. In the near future, they expect to contribute to the HGCAL activities, and also develop the new CMS Tier-2 in Bangkok.
