University of Seoul

The University of Seoul joined CMS in 2008. Two professors, two postdocs and seven graduate students as well as some engineers and technicians are working on CMS.

The group has been involved in the CMS Muon Upgrade, especially in the section of the GEM detector. The Korea-CMS team has put in great efforts to produce the large GEM foils for GE1/1 detector since 2012, and will continue to contribute to the upgrade for GE2/1 and ME0 construction. The team is also heavily involved in several physics analyses, such as QCD Jet physics and Top physics as well as Higgs rare-decay-mode analysis.
